Fernald Station, Wolfeboro NH; NARCOA Mentoring Class 8:00AM. Gordy Wallick of New England Rail Excursions (NEREX)
will be providing instruction and mentoring for people who require it. The morning classroom session will be held in
Fernald Station. Following the classroom portion, attendees will perform seton of their motorcars along with
an inspection,
and then head east with an experienced mentor for the first 8 miles to the end of line.

Lunch stop will be at the Miss Wakefield Diner at the end of track. Once everyone is finished with lunch,
we will head back to Fernald Station where mentoring paperwork will be completed and Setoff will take place.

This event is free and intended for NARCOA members that need to be mentored and received their
NARCOA operator's certification.

Fernald Station, Wolfeboro NH; Motorcar Maintenance Clinic 8:00AM. New England Rail Excursions (NEREX) is hosting a
clinic open to all motorcar hobbyists. The clinic will cover common maintenance tasks and repairs on 2-cycle Fairmont,
4-cycle Fairmont and Woodings motorcars. This is a great way to learn hands-on the mechanical, electrical,
fuel and other systems of these historic rail vehicles.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a motorcar with them to this event along with your tools.
Attendees need not be a CVRTC or NARCOA members to attend. The instructors conducting this
maintenance clinic are open to covering specific maintenance, restoration or repair
topics of interest to attendees.

Pre- registration for this event is required. Following the Maintenance Clinic, attendee's
will have the opportunity to test or ride on the Wolfeboro line (16 RT miles).

Donations for this single day Sunday event are appreciated and will be given
to CVRTC for the use of the facilities. We will accept up to 10 cars or 20 people.

Vermont Railway, White River JCT to Newport

The NEREX team is pleased to announce 2022 excursion on the Vermont Rail System for Saturday, August 13
and Sunday, August 14, 2022. On Saturday we will travel approximately ~ 100 rail miles from White River Junction, VT to Newport,
VT along the Connecticut River. There are numerous twists and turns along the river with many bridge crossings.

We will spend Saturday night in Newport. One hotel room per car at the Newport City Inn & Suites is included.
As part of this weekend package, we also include ground transportation in Newport, dinner Saturday night at
the beautiful East Side Restaurant (directly on Lake Memphremagog), breakfast again at the East Side on Sunday morning and
overnight security for your car at the Newport tie down. You will have your choice of 3 entrees for dinner Saturday evening,
beef, chicken or salmon. Breakfast Sunday will be buffet. We will also include Sunday lunch.

Following breakfast Sunday, we will head back to White River Junction from Newport traveling back the same ~ 100 rail miles.
We will try and get back as early Sunday as we safely can.

Due to the large number of cars allowed we will be offering an early seton Friday, August 12th from 4pm - 6:30pm.
Overnight security will be provided for cars that set on early. As with all NEREX excursions, this is a single excursion
and no individual day discounts will be offered. Hy-Rails, gang motorcar and children under the age of 10
with prior approval only by EC Tom Sopchak. All cars should be capable of maintaining 30mph safely and comfortably.
Those unable or unwilling to do so should consider NOT registering for this excursion.
Operators of motorcars with a history of unreliability may be refused registration.
